Fond du Lac Public Works is notifying motorists of traffic lane closures on East Johnson Street between National Avenue and Prairie Avenue. Starting Wednesday, August 9th the westbound lanes on Johnson Street will be closed until Wednesday, August 16th, followed by the eastbound lanes which will be closed until Wednesday, August 23. The closures will allow a private contractor to complete utility excavation and restoration at Moraine Park Technical College. A signed detour will be south on Prairie Road, to Division Street west to National Avenue north to Johnson Street. Westbound traffic on Johnson Street (STH 23) is encouraged to take US 151 to I-41 to bypass the City if accessing to the City is not required.
