MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Elections Commission says it has deactivated the records of more than 100,000 voters in a routine process. Every two years, the commission reviews voter records and notifies voters who have not cast a ballot in the past four years that their registration could be deactivated. Voters who do not respond within 30 days asking to keep their registration active become ineligible to vote. The commission said Friday that it deactivated 108,378 voter records, including for people who have not voted, people who moved and didn’t register with their new address, voters who died and people who asked to have their registration deactivated.
