The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a drowning in a campground swimming pond near Eden. Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Kevin Galske says 29 year old Paul Becker of Fond du Lac was on a day trip at the Breezy Hill campground Thursday with a group from The Arc of Fond du Lac when the incident occured. Galske says Becker was snorkeling when he went under an inflatable floating dock about 25 feet from the shore. Two sheriff’s dive team members brought the victim to shore and began life saving measures before he was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
