A Markesan man was critically injured when he was struck by a car in Dodge County. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 9pm Friday 48 year old Kenneth Clavey of Markesan was walking in the northbound lane of Dodge County Highway A just south of Highway AW when he was struck by a car driven by 67 year old Susan Boelter of Randolph. Clavey was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later transferred to UW Hospital in Madison. Investigators say the victim was wearing dark clothing on an unlit roadway and strong storms were approaching prior to this crash.
