A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured in a paraglider crash in Fond du Lac County. Shortly after 5:30pm Monday the pilot dialed 911 on his cell phone to report his powered paraglider crashed in a cornfield near Highway 151 and county highway K and thought both his legs may be broken. With the help of a drone and using GPS technology, the 34 year old man was rescued from the field near Highway 151 and county Highway K and flown by helicopter to Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah with significant injuries. Engine failure appears to be a factor in the crash.
