The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of an interim principal at the STEM Academy. Bob Lloyd will serve as interim principal for the 2023-24 school year following the resignation of Tim Scottberg. Last year Lloyd served as an interim assistant principal at Sabish Middle School. He spent 20 years in the Lomira School District, including nine years as superintendent. Before that he was a teacher in the Fond du Lac School District. “As a school district, we are extremely fortunate to have the proven track record and experience that Mr. Lloyd has to lead our transition team,” said Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, Superintendent. “Having Mr. Lloyd involved will allow STEM Academy to continue without missing a beat during the upcoming school year. We are excited to continue to see all the great things happening within our STEM Academy learning community.” The Fond du Lac School District will interview candidates during the second semester of the school year and hire the next full-time principal of STEM Academy to begin in the 2024-25 school year.
