A North Fond du Lac teenager is in custody following a shooting incident in the village on Labor Day. The 15 year old boy faces multiple charges including Party to a Crime of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Police chief Darren Pautsch told WFDL news at least five bullets were fired from a handgun into a home in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue early Monday morning. Pautsch says the residence was specifically targeted and the persons inside the home were known to the suspect. Pautsch says one person inside the home received scratches to his hand from debris and says police are continuing their investigation.
