The Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund has a new executive director. The Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Jolene Schatzinger to the post effective September 11th. Schatzinger most recently served as the Director of Outreach, Engagement, and Mercy at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul and Broken Bread Food Pantry in downtown Fond du Lac. She has also worked at Ripon College and as a school counselor in the Fond du Lac and Ripon school districts. Schatzinger is also an alderwoman on the Ripon city council. “We are delighted to welcome Jolene to the Fond du Lac Area Women’s Fund,” said Meggin McNamara, chair of the Women’s Fund Board of Directors. “She has exhibited great passion for our mission and a clear commitment and desire to help us make an even greater impact on the lives of women and girls throughout the Fond du Lac
Region.” The Women’s Fund will be celebrating it’s 20th anniversary in 2024.
