A second suspect in a fatal shooting at a Fond du Lac apartment complex is in custody. Fond du Lac police chief Aaron Goldstein says on Friday with the assistance from the United States Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, 17 year old Antonio Johnston, was arrested without incident in Chicago while at a friend’s house. Johnston is currently in-custody with authorities in Chicago awaiting extradition back to Wisconsin. Fourteen year old Parise Larry Jr. surrendered a couple days after the May 7th shooting incident outside the Maplewood Commons apartments that claimed the life of 20 year old Tatyanna Zech and injured three people. Police are continuing their investigation. Chief Aaron Goldstein said, “The arrest of Johnston reflects FDLPD’s commitment to holding individuals who chose to put our community at risk responsible for their criminal actions here. Not a day has gone by that I have not thought about May 7th and this senseless tragedy. The impact of this tragedy is far reaching. From the onset, Lead Detective Nick Hahn and our outstanding Detective Bureau worked tirelessly with steady focus and determination alongside the US Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate Johnston and take him into custody.” No further details or information are being released at this time.
