Laconia High School in Rosendale is being recognized by U.S.News and World Report’s Best High Schools in the Nation. Laconia finished among the top 40 percent of schools in the nation and was named the number one high school in Fond du Lac County. Principal Diane Raue stated, “We continue to be thankful for the hard work and dedication that we see everyday from our staff and students as well as the support we receive from our families. Making education a priority in their lives is what makes our students successful.” U.S. News evaluated approximately 18,000 public high schools across the country using data on enrollment, graduation rates, student body demographics, free and reduced price lunch, location, and state test scores. Laconia serves 329 students with approximately 21 percent attending through open enrollment.
