
R.E.M. is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its 11th studio album ‘Up’ with new multi-format reissues, dropping on November 10th. The set will be available as a deluxe 2 CD/Blu-ray package, 2 CD, 2 LP, and digital.
The deluxe 2 CD/Blu-ray set includes the remastered album and a never-before-released 11-track live performance from the band’s 1999 taping for the TV series Party of Five. The Blu-ray also features Up in Hi-Res and 5.1 Surround Sound audio, performance footage, the original EPK, plus HD-restored music videos including “At My Most Beautiful,” “Daysleeper,” and “Lotus.” The three-disc set will be presented in a deluxe folio-style hardcover package with a 32-page book featuring new liner notes from journalist Josh Modell, and new interviews with the band. A limited edition green marble vinyl will be exclusive to the REM online store.
