The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Fond du Lac Police are notifying the public that a convicted violent child sex offender is being released from custody. Fifty nine year old Joseph Prellwitz is scheduled to be placed on supervised release this Friday. He will be living at 1830 South Hickory Street…near the county Highway Garage. In 1985 Prellwitz was convicted of sexually assaulting an 11 year old girl. Seven years later he was convicted and spent time in prison for sexually assaulting two relatives.
