10-2-23 fdl area man killed in car vs tanker crash in fdl county

A Fond du Lac area man was killed in a car vs tanker truck crash in Fond du Lac County.   The crash happened Friday morning on Highway 23 near Esterbrook Road west of the city of Fond du Lac.   Initial reports indicate a car ran a stop sign striking the truck.   The male victim in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the tanker truck, also from the Fond du Lac area,  was not injured.   The state patrol is investigating the crash and says foggy conditions may have been a factor.
