Beginning Thursday October 26, 2022 and through Saturday, October 28, 2022, you may see a larger than normal number of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Utility-Terrain Vehicles (UTV) traveling on authorized road routes throughout Dodge, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, and Washington Counties for the 16th annual ATV/UTV Charity Ride benefiting “Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin.” Events are based out of the Washington County Fair Park and Convention Center located at 3000 CTH PV, West Bend. Heaviest traffic will be in Washington County on Saturday October 28th and dispersing on the North side of the City of West Bend. On the 28th at approx. 9:15-10am the vast majority of riders
will be traveling through the City of West Bend, crossing STH 33 (W. Washington St.) at Scenic Dr/Villa Park Dr. heading north to road routes throughout townships north, east, and west of there. As this is only the third year the event will be in Southeastern Wisconsin, the excess of ATVs & UTVs could cause some confusion. Therefore, we want motorists and citizens aware of the event to eliminate any misunderstandings while attempting to keep everyone safe. The event is hosted by the Kettle Moraine ATV Association (Washington County), the Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association (State of Wisconsin), and Lakeshore ATV/UTV Club (Ozaukee County). Registration for Saturday’s Charity event will be early Saturday morning at the Washington County Fair Park and Convention Center. The event is open to the public (passenger vehicles are able to participate) and are welcome. A riders’ meeting and group photo will take place at 8:45am with riders departing shortly thereafter. Riders can either ride with a prearranged leader or ride on their own in their own small groups. Saturday evening activities begins at 5:00pm, for registered riders (or those paying admission), with dinner (included). The public is welcome after dinner beginning at 6:00pm. There will be raffles, silent auction items, and prizes awarded throughout the evening. The evening events will conclude with a check presentation at approx. 9pm. Further information available at kmatva.com under the Charity Ride tab or Wisconsin Atv/Utv Charity Ride Facebook page. Over the past 15 years, the event has donated over $225,000 to charity.
