A motorcycle vs car crash in Fond du Lac County sent a Lomira man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The crash happened about 5pm Tuesday on Highway 49 west of Church Road. A car waiting to make a turn into Tom Dooley Apple Orchard was struck by the motorcycle. The motorcycle operator, a 75 year old Lomira man, was flown by helicopter to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The car driver and passenger were not injured. Inattentive driving is believed to be a factor in the crash.
