11-15-23 fdl public schools show improvement in latest school report cards

Thirteen of 14 schools in the Fond du Lac School District meet or exceed expectations in the latest statewide school report cards.   Fond du Lac High School meets state  expectations for the first time since the 2013-14 school year and Chegwin Elementary School saw a 16 point score improvement, meeting expectations for the first time in six years.  Nine schools exceeded expectations and Evans and Lakeshore Elementary Schools significantly exceeded expectations.   “We are pleased that our story is trending in a positive direction. We acknowledge that there is always room for improvement and as we look ahead to the remainder of the school year, our commitment remains unwavering in holding ourselves and our students accountable to build upon this growth and achievement in the upcoming chapter,”  superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig said.
