An accident at a stone company in Fond du Lac County has claimed the life of an employee. The incident happened late Friday afternoon at Eden Stone Company on Lime Road. A preliminary investigation indicates that workers were unloading a large piece of a metal stone saw off of a semi truck when it tipped over trapping a worker. Employees were able to free the victim within seconds of the accident, but when deputies arrived, the man was pulseless and non-breathing. Deputies and fire personal attempted life saving measures but their efforts were unsuccessful. The worker, a 50 year old West Bend man, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries as a result from the incident. The victim of the incident was an employee at Eden Stone.
