The Ripon tradition continues! Join us for the 33rd Annual Dickens of a Christmas weekend! This event returns to downtown Ripon, December 1st through the 3rd and you won’t want to miss the fun; presented by Alliance Laundry Systems, Century 21, Horicon Bank and SSM Health. Throughout the weekend there will be plenty of Christmas festivities to enjoy! On Friday, vote for your favorite doll at the Ripon Public Library, see the Gingerbread House Contest at Farrell’s Fine Furnishings, take a tour of the Historical Society Open House, walk through the Enchanted Forest at the Horicon Bank, line the streets for the Holiday Parade of Lights, and finally watch in awe as the Fox Valley Fire Arts performs an LED and fire show at the Village Green. Saturday is packed full of events to attend as well! Get ready to Run Santa Run at the 5K Walk/Run, eat breakfast with Santa at Mr. & Mrs. P’s Eatery, stop by the many open houses, tours and craft fairs taking place and be sure to shop and dine in historic downtown Ripon! Hop on a Carriage ride from 2-4pm. Take a picture with Santa at Ben Franklin, and stroll down Watson street for the 33rd Annual Living Windows! Sunday there is the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Bake Sale & Open House, Dress-a-Doll Contest, and the Ripon College Holiday Concert at the Great Hall! Throughout the weekend, there will be sightings of Santa, horse & carriage rides, a petting zoo, shopping, and excellent dining to enjoy.
