Envision Greater Fond du Lac facilitated a ribbon cutting at the Grand Opening Celebration of Brooke Street Lofts with member organization, The Commonwealth Companies. Brooke Street Lofts is a 62-unit, affordable housing community, built within the historic Northern Casket Company and Winnebago Cheese buildings. The development offers 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartment homes along with a community room, exercise room, computer lab, onsite property management office, and an outdoor area with a playground. “Affordable housing is a critical need across the state, and we’re thrilled to have been able to support this project, and to celebrate the positive impact it will have for the Fond du Lac community,” Kathy Blumenfeld, DOA Secretary, said.
