A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to prison as the ringleader of a nearly $10 million cocaine conspiracy ring in Fond du Lac County. Fond du Lac judge Andrew Christenson has sentenced Lateef Strong to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years extended supervision after Strong was convicted of conspiracy to deliver over 40 grams of cocaine. Investigators say Strong was the ringleader and last of over 15 defendants charged in this conspiracy to have their case concluded. District Attorney Eric Toney says the conspiracy spanned from Fond du Lac County to sources in Milwaukee and Chicago. According to law enforcement the ring was responsible for delivering more than 96,000 doses, or 127 pounds of cocaine worth $9.6 million.
