Two people were killed in a head on collision caused by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 41 in Dodge County. Preliminary reports indicate a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of 41 collided head on with a southbound vehicle near state Highway 67. The driver of the northbound vehicle, an 82 year old Campbellsport woman, and the driver of the southbound vehicle, a 34 year old Oshkosh man, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. Interstate 41 was closed and traffic was rerouted until the crash scene was cleared. The crash happened around 6:30pm Wednesday. The crash remains under investigation.
