Fond du Lac police are investigating two stabbing incidents over the weekend. A 35 year old Fond du Lac man was treated for a stab wound to his hand and his roommate was arrested following the incident early Monday morning in the 100 block of East First Street. Officers set up a perimeter and successfully negotiated for nearly 20 minutes over the phone with the suspect to peacefully surrender as he remained inside the residence. FDLPD Officers took the 44-year-old Fond du Lac man into custody without further incident. The suspect was transported to a local hospital with an unrelated medical issue. Once medically cleared the suspect will be transferred to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges stemming from this act of violence.On Saturday morning police were called to an East Johnson Street residence where a 40 year old Fond du Lac man received a stab wound to his arm. His 29 year old roommate was arrested.
