Fond du Lac, Wisc.: Moraine Park announced Dr. Alan Patterson, founder and president of Mentoré, as the Keynote Speaker at the College’s 2023 Winter Commencement Ceremony on Dec. 15. Dr. Patterson has more than four decades of experience as a leadership development expert and executive coach. Some of his clients have included Anheuser-Busch, Federal Reserve Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett-Packard, Major League Baseball, Sea World and the United States Navy. Dr. Patterson has been a featured speaker, workshop leader, and expert resource for several state and national professional organizations. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for executive MBA programs in Wisconsin and Massachusetts. In 2012, Moraine Park Technical College received an award from the National Council of Instructional Administrators for a leadership program he developed and delivered. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, an MA from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, and an Ed.D. from Boston University. He is the author of Leader Evolution: From Technical Expertise to Strategic Leadership, and Burn Ladders, Build Bridges, Pursuing Work with Meaning + Purpose, which achieved Amazon best seller status. Moraine Park’s Winter Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Fond du Lac Campus Conference Center on Friday, Dec 15 at 6 p.m.
