Envision Greater Fond du Lac recently promoted Lisa McArthur to Vice President of Economic Development. McArthur has been with Envision Greater Fond du Lac since its inception in 2017. She was a member of the team at the Association of Commerce before the merger where she served in a variety of roles. Most recently, McArthur was named interim vice president where she successfully led the economic development team on many projects. “Lisa proved herself again and again while in the interim position,” Sadie Vander Velde, President/CEO, Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “Lisa stepped into the role, providing professional oversight of the economic development team and leading all of our efforts as they pertained to business attraction, retention, and expansion.” In this role, McArthur will manage the economic development staff; develop, implement, and direct economic development programs; and ensure both the economic development team and Chamber of Commerce are involved and engaged in community and industry workforce initiatives and strategies. McArthur began her career at Envision Greater Fond du Lac nearly eight years ago. During this time, she has grown professionally and taken on new roles, ultimately joining the economic development team in 2020. McArthur holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Quality.
