The Fond du Lac School District superintendent has announced changes to the District’s administrative leadership team for next school year. Chief of Schools Matt Steinbarth will become the new Chief Academic Officer effective July 2024. Steinbarth will replace Andrea Reichenberger who is resigning effective January 5th. Steinbarth will also continue to serve as deputy superintendent in superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig’s absence. Waters Elementary School principal, Kristin Bowers has been named the new Chief of Schools. “Mrs. Bowers brings extensive experience leading at the district level, previously serving as an assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, director of Student Services and director of Elementary Education,” Dr. Fleig said. “These leadership changes will add considerable value to our organization. As a district we are committed to ‘changing outcomes’ for students in our learning communities. These moves enable our organization to expand and place individuals in positions that help guide the organization’s success and future.” Dr. Fleig says the search for the next Waters Elementary School principal will begin soon.
