A Fond du Lac teen is in custody following a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle. The chase started shortly after 9:30 pm Sunday on Martin Avenue near Pioneer Road and continued south on Highway 151. The suspect pulled over near Hickory Street and was arrested at gunpoint. Police learned the suspect had broken into the vehicle and hotwired it prior to the chase. The juvenile admitted to breaking into and hot wiring a second vehicle the night before, abandoning it after crashing in a ditch on Pioneer Road. Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says the 14 year old boy had recently moved to Fond du Lac from Chicago.
