A Hartford man was killed in a crash following a high speed chase in Dodge County. The chase started shortly before 6pm Sunday after a sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 33 near state Highway 67. The driver fled south on 67 at speeds in excess of 100 mph. The chase ended when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve on Horseshoe Road, entered a ditch and struck a tree. The 27 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
