…WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING…

* WHAT...Heavy snow with accumulations of 6 or more inches   possible. Winds gusts of 40 to 50 mph could result in   significant impacts from blowing and drifting snowfall,   especially Friday afternoon into Friday night.

* WHERE…Portions of east central, south central and southeast   Wisconsin.

* WHEN…From Friday morning through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow   could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous   conditions may impact the morning commute and will likely  impact the evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree   branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…There is the potential for lower amounts   for lakeshore areas during the day Friday with onshore winds,   with colder conditions and more northerly winds arriving by   the evening hours.
