A Fond du Lac man has been convicted in the shooting death of a Fond du Lac man. Following a trial this week a Fond du Lac jury has found 33 year old Timothy Brown guilty of First Degree Intentional Homicide in the August 20th, 2022 shooting death of 40 year old Brandon Johnson. Police say Johnson was found dead in the 200 block of Marquette Street with multiple gunshot wounds. District Attorney Toney stated “Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Brandon Johnson and our sincere gratitude to the jury for their time and attention during this jury trial. We continue to work with law enforcement to aggressively prosecute gun violence in our community and hold violent criminals accountable by taking them off our streets. This was an incredibly well documented investigation by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department and their detective bureau, which was instrumental in securing these convictions.” A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 17th.
