The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to dozens of vehicle run-offs during last week’s blizzard. More than a foot of snow and strong winds out of the north created near zero visibility at times on roads throughout southern and east central Wisconsin, followed by bitter cold temperatures. Blowing and drifting snow reduced visibilities creating dangerous conditions. Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputies responded to more than 40 vehicle run-offs on area roads Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
