A man was transported to the hospital with minor burns after setting on himself on fire. Thursday afternoon Fond du Lac police and paramedics were called to the 300 block of North Peters Avenue for a report of a man who poured gasoline on himself and set himself on fire. Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says an officer tackled the man into a snowbank to extinguish the fire. The man, from Outagamie County, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital with burns to his ankle and foot. The officer was not injured.
