The Horicon Police Chief is stepping down. Mayor Joshua Maas says chief Amy Yahnke is resigning in good standing. Maas says the city appreciate’s Yahnke’s service to the city and wishes her well in future endeavors. Maas says the city will be starting the process for hiring both an interim Chief and a full-time Chief immediately. The Horicon Police and Fire Commission will be handling both hiring practices. The mayor did not say why the chief was resigning.
