A Fond du Lac Good Samaritan is stepping up to help a Fond du Lac family who was displaced after a fire significantly damaged their home last week. Nobody was injured in the fire last Tuesday at 390 Tompkins Street. Amy Hunkins says the family, including seven children are staying at a motel until either their home is repaired or they find a new place to live. Hunkins posted on Facebook that the family lost all of their belongings and needs clothing, food and toiletries. The family includes three girls and four boys, ages five to 15. Donations can be dropped off at Shining Stars Learning Center on South Main Street.
