The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the person killed in a head on collision in Fond du Lac County last week. Fifty three year old Steven Heckmann of Newtown, Wisconsin was killed when his pickup truck crossed the center line on Kiel Road near Schoenborn Road striking an eastbound semi-tractor trailer head on. The semi driver, 62-year-old Gerald Lusk of Menasha, received minor injuries. The highway was closed for approximately five hours following the crash.
