Nobody was injured in a fire at a assisted living facility in Waupun. Shortly before 7pm Monday firefighters were called to Prairie Ridge Assisted Living for a report of a fire in an outlet. When firefighters arrived smoke was visible and all 28 residents were safely evacuated to the dining hall portion of the building. Once the fire was out
crews worked for about an hour to ventilate the building and residents were allowed to return. A failed light fixture caused the fire.
