1. The Waupun Business Alliance Annual Banquet is now open for registration! Join us on March 28 for an annual update on economic momentum happening in Waupun. This year will be very special as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of four different member businesses. Can you guess them all? Check out the event page to find out. We will also honor a winner of the Community Impact Award, which is currently open for nominations. You can nominate a business or individual who has made or is making a substantial positive impact on the Waupun community.
2. The inaugural Ice Fest is rapidly approaching. If you have not taken a look at the extensive list of activities happening in Waupun on the 17th and 18th of February, you can view the complete schedule here. Remember that this event has been promoted very widely around the state and even outside of Wisconsin, so we are expecting visitors who may be in Waupun for their first time. Please consider making time to attend the festivities; your participation helps us build the resources for more public art in Waupun in the future.
3. This morning we had sold-out attendance at our Coffee Connection at Guth’s. These events are held every month at different member businesses as a free opportunity for members to meet, gather, and learn from each other. If you don’t want to miss out on future Coffee Connections, register ahead before they’re sold out! You can see the date and location of each one on our Coffee Connection page. If you’d rather join us for evening networking (and a free beer) check out our monthly Business Connections. Our attendees for these events come from all around the region, so you’re sure to meet someone you don’t already know.
4 Speaking of getting to know other members, many of you might not know that Envision keeps two member directories up-to-date on our website: our Waupun Business Alliance membership list, and the complete directory of all Envision Greater Fond du Lac members. If you can’t find your organization on both lists, or if you’d like to adjust what category you fall into on our main directory, please let me know.
