United for Diversity held the 15th annual Celebrate Community over the weekend at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds. United for Diversity’s Kristel Lougher says the event was packed with art, culture, food, and music. United for Diversity’s Tracy Abler says the event takes on an even greater importance with diversity efforts in general under attack across the country. “It always seems to come down to fear and the idea that we want to hold on to what we think is a true America,” Abler told WFDL news. “This event really just celebrates how beautiful our community is when we allow this diversity to flourish.” Celebrate Community wase held Saturday at the Fairgrounds Expo building.
