Three finalists have been announced for the Oakfield School District superintendent. The Oakfield School Board , along with a community stakeholder group, will interview the finalists to potentially serve as district administrator following the retirement of Tracey Conners in June. All three finalist interviews will take place on Thursday, February 22.
The three finalists, in alphabetical order, are:
● Robert Antholine, district administrator for the Randall Consolidated J1 School District since 2021. Antholine previously served as the executive director of instruction,
development, and strategy for C.E.L.A., the Christian Education Leadership Academy, where he was responsible for developing and deploying an academic strategic plan for
students in grades K3-8. Prior to C.E.L.A., Antholine served as an educational leader and educator in a number of roles, including principal at Whitnall Middle School, principal at
Lane Intermediate in West Allis, director of teaching and learning at the School District of Waukesha, principal at Swallow School District and classroom teacher, reading
specialist, instructional coach and associate principal at Muskego Norway School District. Antholine has served on several community boards and is the co-founder of
Executive Coaching Team in Milwaukee.
● Sarah Poquette, principal of Perry Tipler Middle School and ALPs Charter School in the Oshkosh Area School District since 2019. In addition to her current role, Poquette has
served the Oshkosh Area School District in a number of capacities since 2001, including principal at Merrill Elementary School; math intervention, gifted and talented and
professional development teacher at Merrill and Oaklawn Elementary Schools; Lighted School House project director and 5th grade teacher at Webster Stanley Elementary
School; and peer coach for the District. In addition to serving on a number of community boards, she has held several committee and leadership positions at the Oshkosh Area
School District, including her service as the co-chair for EPCOT (Emergency Preparedness Collaborative Operations Team) since 2016 and principal mentor since 2010.
● Erica Ramos, director of pupil services for the School District of Brown Deer since 2022. Before her time in Brown Deer, Ramos served as a deeper learning coach in the
West Allis-West Milwaukee School District, the dean of student culture for Seton Catholic Schools, a dual language special education teacher for the School District of
Waukesha, and a bilingual special education teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools. Ramos is a member of AASA, the School Superintendent Association, as well as the
Wisconsin State Reading Association.
The Board hopes to extend an offer by the end of February in order to prepare for the July 1 anticipated start date. The next district administrator will succeed Tracey Conners, who is retiring in June after leading the district for three years.
