A Fond du Lac man has been convicted in the stabbing death of a Fond du Lac woman. A jury has found Gary Davis guilty of First Degree Intentional Homicide in the November 2022 death of 51 year old Jacquelyn Rooney. Her body was found covered in her locked apartment on East Merrill Avenue with 14 stab wounds and blunt force head injuries. Davis was also found guilty of Mayhem with a dangerous weapon and Hiding a Corpse. It took the jury only 40 minutes to reach their verdicts. A pre sentence investigation was ordered.
