Oshkosh, Wis. (Feb. 27, 2024) – Registration is now open for the Mercury Racing Bago Big Bet poker run, set to be the biggest powerboat bash of the summer in Oshkosh, Wis. The inaugural event will take place June 20 – 23, 2024. A fun-filled weekend of activities will include a boat show, a powerboat street parade in downtown Oshkosh, a concert at the Leach Amphitheater and a day-long performance boat poker run on Lake Winnebago. Poker run participants will run from Oshkosh to various stops along the lake including neighboring communities Winneconne and Fond du Lac in a traditional boat poker run format. “Registration for this event will be capped at 100 boats, and we anticipate a sellout,” said Jeff Broman, director of category for Mercury Racing, title sponsor of the event. “We are thrilled to be bringing this event to the Oshkosh area and sharing our passion for high-performance boating with the community where we live and work.” While portions of the event will be open to the community, the poker run requires registration. Boats must be running Mercury Racing or Mercury Marine power in order to be eligible to participate in the poker run portion of the weekend.
