St. Mary’s Springs Academy (SMSA) President, Stacey Akey, is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Chris Decker as the new Director of Advancement. Mr. Decker brings a wealth of experience and expertise in philanthropy, including fundraising, stewardship and institutional marketing as a result of his dedicated work within parish and educational settings. Mr. Decker demonstrates remarkable skills in communication, partnership development and strategic planning, all of which will undoubtedly enhance SMSA’s advancement efforts. Mr. Decker shares, “Catholic education is a joy and honor to support and I will work tirelessly to ensure our teachers, staff, administrators, current and future students, and our families are equipped with everything they need to maximize their God-given potential.” Mr. Decker previously served as the Director of Advancement for St. Mary Catholic Schools in Neenah, WI, where his role was crucial in building relationships with stakeholders, including alumni, parish partners, Board of Trustee members, and community supporters. Mr. Decker expresses his desire for SMSA alumni and stakeholders to forever see St. Mary’s Springs Academy as their school. Cultivating a culture of excellence on The Ledge emanates through the trust, hard work, integrity and leadership of SMSA’s faculty and staff.
