The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fall in Fond du Lac County last week. According to the Sheriff’s Offices 62-year-old Joseph Thome remains hospitalized in critical condition after falling more than 10 feet while working inside a building in the town of Taycheeda. Thome is a staple in the Fond du Lac County agricultural community and chairman of the Town of Taycheedah. Thome’s family provided the following statement:
“Our husband, father and grandfather suffered critical injuries and remains hospitalized. Joe’s exemplary loving care for his family, friends and community reaches deep in the Holyland and far beyond. We ask for your respect and privacy as we wrap our heads and hearts around this crisis in the days and weeks to come, and we thank you for your support and prayers.”
