The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a public information meeting next week on proposed improvements on Interstate 41 from County Highway D to Highway 151 in Fond du Lac County. Improvements include replacing the cable barrier and guard rail, addressing deteriorating pavement and mitigating ongoing flooding issues on the interstate near the Hickory Road interchange. The meeting will also address Oversize/Overweight truck movements at the I-41/US 151 intersection. The meeting starts at 5pm Tuesday at the county Highway Department conference room on South Hickory Street.
