The Fond du Lac Holy Family Warming shelter has received a major grant. The $10,000 grant comes from The Catholic Community Foundation to help provide care to those in need and support shelter operations. Holy Family spokesperson, Sarah Razner says the shelter opened last November to offer emergency shelter to single adults experiencing homelessness during the winter. Each night the shelter served up to 30 individuals with a place to sleep, providing meals, and winter weather gear donated by the community.
