The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County. Seventy five year old Janice Handrich of Ripon died at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee following the crash Monday night on Highway 26 near Cattaraugus Road. A preliminary investigation shows a vehicle that had run out of gas was stopped in the southbound lane of Highway 26 when it was struck by another southbound vehicle. Handrich was standing in front of her vehicle when it was struck and Handrich was struck by her vehicle during the collision. The driver of the other vehicle, 73 year old Julie Midtbo of McFarland, was not injured.
