Sparks from a passing train are believed to be the cause of two grass fires in Fond du Lac over the weekend. Saturday afternoon Fond du Lac firefighters responded to the area of Highway 151 and the railroad tracks just east of the South Hickory Street on-ramp for a grass fire. Shortly after arrival another call came in for a second grass fire on the north side of 151 along Kohlman Road. Both fires were quickly extinguished.
