North Fond du Lac police are investigating a strong armed robbery. Shortly after 8pm Tuesday police received a call that a man had been beaten and robbed near the intersection of Polk Street and Audrey Court. The victim , a Waukesha man, told officers he knows the suspects and that they are also from Waukesha. A preliminary investigation indicates the victim contacted the suspects, asking them to come to North Fond du Lac. The suspects picked up the victim and his girlfriend, who were robbed and beaten. The man received what were described as substantial injuries. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. Anyone with information is asked to call North Fond du Lac police.
