Construction is underway on a major renovation project in the Rosendale-Brandon School District. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held recently for an expansion that will increase space at Laconia Middle School and High School, starting with a new cafeteria and high school classroom addition. High School principal, Diane Raue, says subsequent phases will include a secure front entry, office space, gym and locker room, renovations to existing areas, building-wide maintenance, additional parking and improved traffic flow. Raue says the expansion will ensure optimal class sizes and provide students with modern learning spaces.
