The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a two vehicle crash Friday that sent a Fond du Lac man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A preliminary investigation shows 34 year old Jeanna Giese of Fond du Lac was westbound on Highway Q and was turning into a driveway, when she pulled in front of an eastbound vehicle. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, 77 year old Ronald Birschbach of Fond du Lac, was ejected from the vehicle and flown by helicopter to a hospital with critical injuries. Giese was not seriously injured. The Sheriff’s Office says neither speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
