The street reconstruction season is underway in the city of Fond du Lac. Public Works director Paul DeVries says the big project is the reconstruction of Pioneer Road in front of Theisen Middle School. The project is slated for completion by the end of September. DeVries says a stormwater retention pond is also under construction to the east of the Theisen football field. Other major street projects this summer include 9th Street from the Fond du Lac River bridge to Linden Street in front of the Fond du Lac School District administration building, and Military Road from the Stem Academy through Hickory Street.
